General Summary:
David Lim, M.D., has practiced adult and pediatric urology since 1995 and served as the chief of Urology at Memorial Hermann-Memorial City from 2006-2008. His interests include all aspects of urology, with particular interest in stone disease, prostate disease and pediatric urology. Dr. Lim was born in Seoul, South Korea, and came to the United States as a teenager. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and later completed a combined B.S./M.D. six-year program at Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He finished his undergraduate program with a Summa Cum Laude distinction and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He also completed a surgical and urology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, as well as a fellowship in pediatric urology at the University of Florida. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1998 and was recertified in 2007. Dr. Lim is board certified in pediatric urology.

Dr. Lim was the recipient of the Clinical Faculty of the Year Award from the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine in 1997 and 2000, and he has authored and co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Lim is also a clinical assistant professor of urology at Baylor College of Medicine.
